I bought a Benge 190 F in great shape and am happy with it.
My only problem is I am practicing a lot and the the tenon slide lock that rests against my palm causes pain with time. I can probably buy a padded glove but was hoping for a less obvious fix. Any ideas?
Thanks.

You got any pictures? I'm holding my Benge 165f (I believe the same slide and tenon as a 190) and I don't see how your palm is coming in contact with it. Is this something that a Get a Grip or similar would fix?

I'd try a grip aid (neotech etc). That reversed connecting nut on Kings is a bit weird.

Does this mean your wrist is extended past straight? If so that's a weak position.
