Trombone wall hanger
Does anybody know where to get a trombone wall hanger like Chris Bill has in the background on this video? I was looking at the thing with the squirrel on top and a trombone hanging from each side.

Yeah, the video is pretty good too.

I think you have to make them yourself.

Many possibilities for DIY...

I presume you asked in the comments to that video and got no reply?
I'm curious about Carol Jarvis' recording space in that video. It's built out of shipping pallets lined with vanity lights?

Don't forget the slide rest.
I wanted to do something like this, but my wife won't let me.

I did something DIY that is similar:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1M3Z-38CgtEU1PP4Sh1cj_MTNrJa1EtFS
I prefer to have something sticking out of the wall so that I don't smack the drywall on accident. I have hooks that the slide rest on for my heavier horns such that it balances the weight between the bell and the slide. Those ones actually rotate so I can make them higher or lower depending on what horn I have on them.
I basically got a few dowels and drilled into two flat pieces of wood and then screwed/glued the dowel in place. Then topped it off with a drilled out plunger and rubber stool tip. You can't see it in these pictures, but I put a piece of cloth over the plungers to prevent them from wearing the bell down when I would remove and place them on it.

I would interpret that as she wants to hear you play, not see your trombone displayed. Play on, dude!

I saw that, but you have to have that slat wall for it to work.

There are some that require slat fixings but this one has 2 holes for screws.

The ones that I used were able to be drilled to the studs, fwiw. Very stable!

I have several of these, they are great. I mounted them to a beautiful piece of cherry that I had lacquered and mounted to the studs in the wall. My wife likes the look and they free up a lot of floor space.
