I’ve been looking for an HN White King 3B for a long time. I’ve also been told that these instruments turn up all sorts he time.
Unless… you have a King 3B, and you’re a wine aficionado .

Re: Conundrum
HN White died in 1940. The 3B was introduced in 1955.
The company left the family around 1970.
That's a pretty narrow range of years.
Any particular reason you want one that old?
Also, if you are looking to buy one this post is obtuse and also on the wrong Board (should be in Classifieds and with a title like "WTB HN White 3B")

Re: Conundrum
Thank you Richard! That's a bit more than I hoped to spend, but I'll consider it as I continue to look.
Bruce - I have posted on the classifieds section here, several times. My post here wasn't looking to purchase, but was asking why my previous requests to purchase have been met with silence. You answered that by explaining the rarity of what I'm looking for. For that, I'm grateful. If you're really curious why I'm looking for that trombone from that time period, please email or PM me and I'll share. It's not something I want posted publicly.
Thank you,
Josh
