Best Hallelujah Chorus for Trombone Quartet

Post by Ztubadude »

Hi! In your opinion, what is the best arrangement of the Hallelujah Chorus for trombone quartet?

I only know of one for tbone 4tet. Arranged by Zachary Crofford in the key of D. It's playable, and piccolo trumpet solo aside, nearly believable. It's a big blow, though. 2 pages with a lot of notes and not many rests. The bass bone part is a lot of fun.

There's another one with alto, 2 tenors and tuba/bass bone arranged by Frost. It's in Bb. The alto part is oddly written in treble clef. I've never played that one.

We played “and the glory of the lord” Marco Katz

It was good. 5 parter I think
