INSTRUMENT ASSEMBLY
S.E. Shires Company is a premier brass musical instrument manufacturer located in Holliston, Massachusetts. The craftspeople at S.E. Shires produce top-of-the-line instruments for world-class musicians around the globe. S.E. Shires is currently seeking new candidates to fill key positions in our assembly team.
Job Responsibilities:
• Assemble simple to sophisticated instrument parts and components
• Use hand tools, touches, and other light machinery.
• Basic soldering and brazing of brass, nickel, and steel parts.
• Follow established procedures on routine work with limited supervision.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Wear appropriate PPE including safety glasses, face shields, and gloves.
• Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement activities and participate in problem solving activities.
• Consistently meet production, quality, and attendance requirements.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree or Technical School Degree preferred
• Strong attention to detail, and uphold highest standards for quality
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Musical instrument experience is a plus

Work Schedule
• Full time (40 hours) Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm.
Pay Schedule
• Bi weekly
Compensation
• Compensation will be based on experience and productivity.
