Pomp arrangement that actually has rests

Post by Mikebmiller »

Is there a Pomp And Circumstance quintet arrangement that does not require the bone player to play quarter notes continuously from start to finish?

We have a graduation this Friday, and it will have a 10 minute or so processional. The arrangement we have been using features exactly 0 rest for the bone and leaves my face on the floor after a few times through. Is there a better one out there? Ideally, it would be basically an arrangement for a trio, but with the parts passed around so that everyone gets a break.

Thanks.

The Trio to that march isn't that long. You could arrange your perfect version!
