Do not use Edwards Slide Grease on on the hand slide. Or any grease.

I've started using Yamaha purple again, plus a drop of superslick pro. Seems to work now. I was forvetting to REALLY shake the purple before I used it.

Yamaha slide lubricant works like a charm after I wiped the cream off the inners and cleaned the inside of the outer slide.

I forgot to mention that I apply it sparingly: a large drop to each stocking and a large drop near each cork barrel.

I use Yamaha on everything. Clean the slide well and anything should work.

I use the Yamaha stuff on my Edwards slides and non-Edwards slides.
