You might be able to use a Director slide. I've heard of many cases where a pro using a 6H with slide trouble got a Director slide and made do.

Hey there,
I have a 6H slide that is non-workable and needs a trip to a good slide tech. If you are interested, let me know.

I have a slide that fits a 6h, and I don't have any use for it at the moment. I'm not sure of it's pedigree, but I got it from a forum member. It has a Saturn water key. If you're picky about details, this might not be the one for you, but it works and it's cheap. I can include a wooden box for a little more. PM me if interested.
