Hola.

As I'm a "Real G" living "the Life", my "Dawgs" told me I need to convert some musical "Bling" into alternative material goods.  As such, I'm "Hustlin'" a few instruments.

a.  Interested?  Advance to page two.
b.  Can't do it?  Please turn to page 126.

Here's a near-mint condition Rath R12.  For those who are wondering about the mind-boggling numbering scheme of Rath instruments, let me illuminate the mystery.  The R12 is the smallest-bore trombone made by Rath.  It's a .481-.491" dual-bore instrument, just like a King 2B.  This particular one plays buttery smooth and is very easy to color.  I play it for gypsy-jazz, big-band, and small-group jazz playing.  My favorite use is playing Tommy Dorsey ballads with it, but super-technical playing is very easy.

I said near-mint, not mint.  What's the issue?  There's a lacquer scratch on the slide barrel area (visible on the fifth picture), a tiny mute ding (unphotographable), and an extremely small ding on the tuning slide (also unphotographable...you'd have to hunt for it).  What can I say.  I play the thing.

Enough of the yammering.  Here are some pictures:

If you are seriously interested (and not simply inquisitive), send me an email and make me an offer, which has changed recently.  My new email is the first letters of this little poem:

New horns are so pretty,
Even if you pay an arm and a leg.
Oh, I know this feeling well, believe me.
But don't fret, pet,
Rejoice in knowing that
I have many used horns.  Cry no longer!

Remember, my preferences:

* I strongly prefer to ship CONUS, but will consider shipping overseas
* I consider trades of professional-level instruments but prefer PayPal
* Buyer pays PayPal fees, if any

Thanks!
