I am not sure what the round disk-like part that's attached to the linkage is called on the G valve of the Olds P-24G.  As you can see from the picture, mine is not in great shape.  If anyone has this part and would sell it to me please let me know.

I call 'em stop plates. I'm not sure if they are entirely interchangeable or not, but you might try one off of another model Olds. Maybe the Allied catalog lists the part? Even if they no longer have it, that would tell you which ones would fit your horn.

The other alternative would be to have it stripped and replated, but I can't see that being cheap or fast.

Jim,
I’d either find a parts horn or simply update
the valves and linkages with modern ones.

Parts from other Olds valves are not all interchangeable (I have a couple that are backwards from what I need).  Anyone know how much it would cost to replace the linkage?  That seems the most likely, considering I haven't seen anyone willing to part with a P-24G even for parts.  Thanks for the responses.
