”Insecure connection”

Post by Kbiggs »

I’m not sure whether it’s a problem on my end or with the website, but lately I’ve had the experience of typing a response, tapping the “preview” button, getting a series of error messages like “Connect Lost,” and the initial Web Tracker login, and then I’ll find that my post is lost. Trying to go back to a previous page or refresh the page doesn’t help.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Seems to be a local issue for you. No problems here. :idk:

What browser/OS? This sounds more like a Cloudflare issue, which - per the other announcement I just made - I should be able to possibly solve soon by finally being able to loosen the restrictions.

I’m usually on my iPad using Safari, iOS 26.5.

I’ll try to take some screenshots next time it happens.

Well, wouldn’t you know? It happened just as I was posting. Here’s the screenshots:

What usually happens is any progress I’ve made writing a response is lost. This time, it was saved. Again, this usually happens when I press Preview to review what I’ve written before posting.

Cool, I almost never use my iPad for surfing but I can break mine out and see if I can reproduce.
