The newly packaged Hetman 11 comes in small bottles with a cheap cap that doesn’t stay tightened.
Anyone know if hetman will move back to the needle bottles?

I don't know. I hate the new Hetman bottles.

Give the ultra pure oils a shot. They are pretty great.

Needle oiler bottles on Amazon are plentiful and cheap. You can get a life's supply of them (well, at least a long-term supply) for $10 or less. Put anything you like in them (though something like peanut butter probably isn't the best idea).

I also use the non-needle bottles for my slide lubricant (Yamaha or Rapid Comfort) - also plentiful and cheap - so there's a small (5 or 10mL) bottle in each trombone case. Original bottles of slide lube kept in the refrigerator.

Just a few days ago I ordered a dozen 5 ml bottles. They should arrive tomorrow. I just hope Hetman's doesn't dissolve Sharpie.

Thank you. I tested UP for Ken when he ran the company. My frustration with the valve oil is that it tends to dry up pretty quickly. I re-apply 2-3xs a week so I don't neglect.
I did order some needle bottles. But, Hetman needs to do better. Truly.
I may try out J Meinschmidt to see how they work after I work through my current supply.
