What one-ear, over-ear headphones are folks using in recordings these days?

Not interested in ear buds or in-ear monitors, I already have those. I'm looking for over-ear headsets without a microphone for use in recording.

And since I have to buy multiple sets, a plus if they are affordable, but I don't want poor quality.

Anyone?

I have a Beyerdynamic one sided "set" that I use. Maybe not the best but they work well.

I haven't done the one ear thing, but if you can convince the engineer to change the click sound to a hiss sound, very easy to do, you can then use open backs. The hiss isn't picked up by microphones at all. On most cases bleed from the mix isn't really a problem either.

The Beyerdynamic DT 252 is the one I see at studios that have single-ear cans.

I sometimes use a Beyerdynamic 252 when recording on bass bone. Normal two-can headphones hit my trombone and make it difficult for me to keep correct mouthpiece placement, even with the left can off my ear.

The output level on the Beyerdynamic seems to be a bit different than other standard studio headphones like Sony or Audio Technica--if you have to share junction boxes without your own volume control it can be tricky to get a comfortable level.

Lately I've been going back to Shure SE215 in-ears, with one ear halfway out for some room sound. I bet there are better in-ears, but these have been reliable.
