No trombone but I've been listening to this album on repeat since I stumbled across it a few weeks ago. Just your typical trumpet/violin/cello/flute/clarinet quintet.

Wow that sounds incredible. Not sure what the trumpet is doing for breaths there. It's like Philip Glass.

The click track usage makes me wonder if the piece is an album only deal, or if the group does indeed have an interpretation that they could do live. You can almost feel them compressing in places to stick to the click.

That is nice. There is development and sense of destination. And beauty. And still “contemporary”.
