Who's the lead trombone player? I like the way he plays lead.
Conrad replaced me on Buddy Rich's band. He was a very loud player at the time. I love how he has moderated his approach since then. And Kevin Cerovich keeps up with him nicely. Good tromboning all around. We need more of this!

Except for Ben Polk on bass trombone, any of them could play lead, and I'm pretty sure they share the parts around. Based on seating position, maybe TSGT Matthew Hettwer?

Yes, that’s Matt Hetwer. I know his dad Mike, who’s an incredible horn player in Portland OR.

What a musician! I've been listening to so much of Conrad Herwig's Latin Sides that I had to reset my brain for this one...
