She tore her ACL in her knee last Friday and she is still planning on participating in the Winter Olympics wearing a brace, and she’s in her 40s! She has the biggest balls in sport right now. Absolutely an incredible athlete.
I think anybody, including Trombone players, could take inspiration from her stamina and determination.

Having met Lindsey, I know she is driven, dedicated to her sport. She's also in phenomenal shape. She trains hard, practicing her basic skills constantly. And she's really a decent person, kind, giving and supports her teammates.

I work for Head ski in R&D here in the States and have met a lot of racers. I'm off to Cortina this afternoon. It's gonna be a long day.

Courage is right! Her courage epitomizes Olympic spirit. Not many people get out of something as much or more than they put into it. She's certainly one who gets a lot of output and cup wins to confirm it.
At 41, she is an irrepressible force obsessed with speed and skiing who loves nothing more than flying down a steep sheet of ice at 80 mph on the edge of recklessness and sanity, where all great downhill skiers thrive.

The crash brought a heartbreaking end to one of the great early dramas of the first days of these Winter Games and added another sheen of luster to Vonn’s record-breaking career. She’s won 84 World Cup races — including two downhills this season — along with eight world championship and three Olympic medals. Only Mikaela Shiffrin (108) and Sweden’s Ingemar Stenmark (86) have won more World Cup races.
