one-piece, hand-hammered bells and two-piece “spun” bells—What is the difference between them?

I have a friend who said that when playing a two piece copper composite horn (like 88H), it will have a faster response than a one-piece horn 🤔 I don't quite believe it. I think it's also related to the thickness of the speakers. Feel free to leave a message below and share your opinions!

Great article! If I am not mistaken, the old Selmer Bolero trombones were also hand hammered. I had one, a very bright, resonant .508 bore horn.
