Can the case of Conn 88H accommodate Conn 79H?
Has anyone tried it?

The 79h slide is wider than the 88h slide. I owned both models and used the same gig bag with them, but didn't have the stock 88h case at that time.

I have both an 88H (1972) and a 79H (1970).
The 79H does NOT FIT into the 88H case. The 79H slide is wider - and longer!
