For sale is a Karl Deimer Bb tenor horn with all the nasally qualities and pitch issues you've grown to expect from this type of instrument.

I bought it with the idea of using it in German-style brass bands, then I remembered: I hate that kind of music!

It's in reasonably good condition, all the tuning slides work fine, as do the valves, $150 was carefully chosen using a Market Valuation approach to establish the total market value of the music such a horn is asked to play.

Takes a small-shank mouthpiece.

I need one of these for all my Mahler 7 gigs.

I'd be interested in seeing pictures of this. I'm a new member, so I can't view the photos.

Do you know much about its provenance, or at least roughly when it was built? Does it have a case? And possibly... how much to wrap it in lots of bubblewrap and ship it to New Zealand?
