Does anybody know what mouthpiece Randall Hawes is playing at the moment? I don't think it's a Hammond.

He's been on a Breslmair recently. Can't say that's exactly what he's using at the moment.

About Breslmair , I can't find any rhymes or reasons behind their sizes and their naming on the webpage...Any advice? Or am I not supposed to know ?🥴

If it makes you feel better, I am a native German speaker and I too find their sizing and and descriptions not helpful. Same goes for Windhager, another Austrian maker. Both are however in VERY high demand in Germany and Austria these days.

Mr. Hawes was on tour with Clevelabd in Austria when he stopped by the store and tried a few pieces and liked this one the best.

I find it frustrating that they have so little on their online shop for bass other than a few pieces (112 and 212 I think)

Windhager and Latzsch mouthpiece systems are some of the most difficult to decipher, in my opinion.

To my knowledge, Breslmair has two stock bass trombone models:
#212 - 28mm rim with 7mm bore
#112 - 28.4 rim with 7mm bore

But they will also do custom work.
