RIAS Big Band with George Roberts - Tribute to Stan Kenton

Post by TheConnArtist70H »

Hi everyone, :hi:

I found this amazing YouTube recording from 1995 headed by Jiggs.

It's well worth a watch / listen and just to witness George Playing in the Section ( well wow ). He does play
a few Bass Trombone solos as well.

This is my Sunday treat to you all.

Enjoy :good:

Nice! And including a young Till Brönner and a young Dan Gotshall.

Intermission Riff is a great example how a bone section doesn't have to play really loud, but can be very present still.
