Hi all,

A question for a student of mine with a Doug Elliott mouthpiece: would a XT rim fit on a ST or MT series cup? I’m sorry if this has been asked before, I just don’t know.

The threads are the same but the rim to cup interface is different, so there would be a ledge.
I make shallow XT cups down to A depth, if you want to use an XT rim on a shallower cup. And of course small shanks.
