I wanted to show off a new Mouthpiece Buzzing Tool I've developed, which is my take on a variable resistance buzzing device. It uses a rotating barrel scheme that allows the user to select between 4 separate aperture sizes. Available for both small and large shank mouthpieces.
Small shank aperture sizes: 11mm, 8mm, 6mm, and 4mm
Large shank aperture sizes: 12mm, 9mm, 6mm, and 4mm
I personally find a little resistance useful when doing my short mouthpiece buzzing routine on trumpet, this product was developed in response to my wanting something small and convenient, sturdy, adjustable, easy to use, etc. The video below shows the trumpet version but they all work the same way.
