I stumbled upon this great footage from 1937 inside the Elkhart Conn factory going through the different manufacturing stages and the very talented craftsman that made these incredible instruments.

Note at 7:17 the famous Jake Burkle with what looks to be a Conn 70H behind him ?



I thought some of you might find this interesting.

This was posted earlier (a few years ago), but still interesting.

As a former engineer of screw machines…. Highlighting one as an example of precision is painful. (They are cool, still some of the most fun I have had as a manufacturing engineer).
