Pencil Clip Question

I have a pencil clip made for a Manhassett stand that I use on my horns.I’ve been using it for years.
I want to get a second clip, but I can’t find one that is large enough to hold a Bic mechanical pencil. The clips are too small. Does anyone make a clip that will hold something larger than a golf pencil?
I’ve tried Hickey’s, Dillon, and Amazon. I’m hoping someone here can send me in the right direction.

If you have one for your stand do you need one for your horn too?

It appears that Manhasset no longer sells them, but K&M does, in 3 sizes, but I'm sure the pencil part of it would still not be big enough. I'd grind or file it out to fit the larger pencil.
K&M pencil holders:

Attaches pencils to stands with tubing diameter 0.512 - 0.591 (Wire stands)

Attaches pencils to stands with tubing diameter 0.787 - 0.866“.

Attaches pencils to stands with tubing diameter 0.945 - 1.024“. (Manhassets and other similar stands, outer tube)

They’re plastic, and can bend with a little heat and pressure. You could try gently and carefully heating one and then squeezing a Bic mechanical pencil into the slot. Wait until it cools, then remove the pencil.

I only use it on my horn. Now that I have two horns I need a second one.

Thanks. I’ve tried them but haven’t thought of modifying them. I’ll give that a try.

I did exactly that, and it worked.

That is why I use an All-Metal Pencil.

If that’s a stainless steel or an aluminum pencil, then you’ll need to compensate omni-directionally for the vibro-resonant drift factor. If you were using a titanium pencil, then you’d need to compensate uni-directionally, but you’d have to compensate for the tensile strength using a proprio-gibberish monitor.

I use an Apple Pencil with my iPad, and the case has a spot for the pencil.
