Any one know which tuning slides are compatible? I like the look of some other tuning slide, (distinctive/artistic ones) but I also love my Edwards horns. Is it bad news to switch parts and make franken horns? Also I have King 2B that has a real bad repair, and I'd love to replace with an aftermarket ... anyone know how compatible tuning slides are or how I can measure/compare?

Re: Tuning Slide Compatibility
A few tubes line up OK size wise. For a lot of manufacturers, different examples of the same model can’t be swapped without a trip to the tech bench.
E.g., I had a Holton 180 slide with tubes that nominally fit in Bach tubes. It was not interchangeable with any horn I owned (I have a handful of Bach basses).
Good luck,
Andy

Re: Tuning Slide Compatibility
I believe the Conn 6H tuning slide is compatible with 2B.
