Just came across these folk on youtube. Absolutely incredible sound, maybe there's something in big bell tenors?!
Hopefully there's an album in the offing.

Yeah, that's a great sound, and a fantastic performance. That section in the middle with all of the off-beat stuff must have been difficult to put together, and a huge test of endurance.

Tomer Maschkowski (far right) is playing a [double-axial valve] bass trombone. (See 13:25)
Tomer is the bass trombonist at the Deutsches Symphonie Orchester Berlin.
Beautiful playing, coordination, blending, ...

I've been following them on YouTube for a month or two now - there are several more fantastic videos. Tomer was supposed to be at the ITF last month, but had to miss it because of illness. Too bad - I would have loved to have heard his recital.
Great group!

He plays a Bach in the video I believe, but this summer he's been on a Shires, both with the Orchestra and as a teacher/soloist at the Numskull brass festival. Also there is no more mention of being a Bach Artist on his social media.

That third player is great, he had to dig deep in one of the videos I saw late last night. I forget all the time that tenor players are sometimes asked to play into the Bass Range.
