Anyone know what the exact throat diameter of these trombone mouthpieces are? Easy enough to find charts with the cup depth/diameters but absolutely nothing on the throats.
Thanks in advance.

I have a Parduba *4½* and a *5* small-shank mouthpiece (which play surprisingly better than I think they should).
Each has a 5.85 mm (0.230 in.) Throat.

I have an original Parduba 1 in my collection which measures to me somewhere around .930 to .935 ID. The throat is .229

I’ve got a *2* that came with a 1940s trombone. Can’t quite get my callipers deep enough into it, but eyeballing it I’m going to say 0.228”.

Bit of research courtesy of ChatGPT, 0.228” is a standard #1 drill size: https://littlemachineshop.com/reference ... llsize.php
