King 606/607 slide compatibility
I recently acquired a King 607F and the end crook on the outer slide is a bit damaged. I’m aware that repairing or replacing the crook can be costly. I’ve come up with the idea of replacing my 607’s outer slide with one from a 606. Does anyone know if an outer slide from a King 606 would fit on an inner slide from a King 607? Are the outer slides of the two identical? I wouldn’t mind buying a cheap 606 and finding out for myself, but I thought I’d ask here first.

I have replaced many King slide crooks on an assortment of models. The crooks are very affordable and the tech work is not that difficult. I would not consider it expensive at all.
