Meinlschmidt Open Flow Rotary Valve Tenor vs. Bass Specs

Post by Floridatrombonekenneth »

Hey Everyone!

I have been looking online without much luck to try and find the bore size for the Meinlschmidt Valve's ports. For the Tenor and Bass valves respectively.

I have a valve, and I am not sure if it is an oversized tenor valve, or a correctly sized Bass valve. I saw somewhere that a tenor is .562 but wanted to see if anyone could confirm.

Thanks!

If you want to get really technical they only sell in metric 14.3mm which is 0.5629 inches. Will anyone be able to tell it’s nearly 0.001 inches bigger? No.
