Hello,
For a bass trombone, is it possible to use a Bach slide with a Shires (without modification)?

The taper and threads are a tiny bit different. Beat to have a shires tenon installed on the bach slide if you like it.

Bach slide is also longer, so if you are pushed in all the way with the Shires it will be flat.
