Hello, My son is working on the Grondahl Trombone Concerto and is interested in performing it with the wind ensemble. We have limited resources and I was wondering if anyone has an arrangement (wind ensembleandpiano)?

I don't own it, but I know there is a wind ensemble (concert band) version of the accompaniment - I played it sometime in the early 2000's. And yes. there is a piano part in the 2nd mvt. that plays the nice arpeggiated passages while the trombone plays the lyrical melody. That piano part is also in the orchestral version, by the way.

The wind ensemble version might be available for rent - check Hickeys site. Also, search the publisher's website - maybe they have info on the accompaniments (and maybe the rentals as well).
