Where to List a Beautiful King Front-Bell Baritone

I have an absolutely great King front-bell baritone, probably from the 1920s, silver-plated, goldwashed bell, extensive engaving, valves in great shape.
Where would a guy go to sell such a horn? It has a huge sound, punchy, but not raucous...
I am so bad with valves, it is a frustration to play...
Would be a great horn for a polka band

I will, I bought it on a lark, and was pleasantly surprised by it, like it was never played.
I imagine the town doctor bought the horn for his lazy son, who never took it out of its case (no case in this case)

Might be worth posting on TubaForum.net. It you don't move it quickly, you might consider putting it on consignment at Tuba Exchange. I just sold both my Mack Brass euph and my Wessex Eb tuba there over the past six months. The euph sold almost immediately, and the tuba took about half a year -- but it was an Eb.
Tuba Exchange was great, and they handle all shipping and even a trial/return policy. But I live only 20 miles from TE. So getting the stuff there was no issue for me. You might try looking for a good consignment shop near you. There are more of those around than you might think. Also, of course, Ebay. I've bought both a tuba (from a place two hours away from me) and an oval euph (from someone in Bulgaria!) via Ebay.
I do think that Dave's site is probably the best approach for that horn. People are always looking for instruments there, including used, older, unusual, or vintage ones. It might take a while, but just keep bumping it up from time to time.

i think it would go really quickly, for someone who wants a punchy sound and complete eye candy.

I agree. That why Dave's forum is the best bet.

I don't understand why anyone would describe a horn as "beautiful" without immediately posting pics. For sale or not. Trombone or not.
Possibly excepting "Naked Lady" Conns, I suppose.

It is truly incomprehensible.
Could have to do with the need to polish the son of a bitch (just guessing here!)

I sold a minty Conn "Naked Lady" on Dave Werden's site about a year ago. Dave thought it was way overpriced and it took a few months to get an excellent price for an excellent instrument. The buyer was overseas.

Mine is in that vein, what did you get for it?

Mine I am confident is valuable in the right hands, but it will take someone looking for something out of the ordinary
