Hi guys.

I’ve had a NIGHTMARE,

I’ve lost the second trigger spring for my yamaha 622, which is the same as the 822G.

It’s the spring, which is removed when you take the second trigger off. . . . IVE BLOODY LOST IT. It pinged away never to be seen again!


I think I have the part number D0341130

For anyone know where I could buy a couple. (So I have a spare ) . .

I’m going to be pulling the attic apart very soon!

Yeah, I was just looking at that. I'd try it if it looks at all likely. Of course, you'll need to do a bit of bending and maybe snipping since it appears to be kind of "Yamaha generic lever spring".

It might be faster and not necessarily more expensive (once you factor in cost and shipping) to take the horn to a local tech who can probably make one (if he/she needs to), and not screw it up like you might. On the other hand, the tech might just order the Hickey's (or similar one) and install it.

I'd go OEM if at all possible. Anything else and you're likely to run into the "it's a spring and it fits" syndrome. It it doesn't have the same wire size and number of coils, the spring rate won't be the same.

Yes, also for it to be "removable" it needs to pretty much be the exact spring, which has a loop at the end that goes over a stud on the paddle. That moves the tension from the receiver to being entirely on the linkage, so the paddle can be unscrewed, and the D attachment removed.
