Hi everyone,
I'm attempting to transpose this solo for my school's jazz band. Never transcribed anything before and guidance would be helpful.

If you mean 'transcribe' I have found that getting the rhythms first makes it much easier. Just write out the beats - you can assign pitch later.
Also, do one section at a time. One phrase, then the next. Keeps it all from getting too big for you to think about at once.
