I'm looking at a really nice 2B silver sonic '58 which isn't 100% but is in really nice shape with only a few minor scratches. Hasn't been restored but both trombone is in really good playing condition and the case 9/10.
My question is what is the price ranges for this type trombone.

Re: Prices of Silversonic 2Bs
I’ve seen them go from anywhere between $1400 to $2500 for mint conditions. I paid $1600 after eBay fees ($1400 listing) for my 1947 2B Silvertone in great condition (some lacquer wear, gold wash slightly faded, and 10/10 slide) and I thought it was a good deal.

Brass Exchange has one listed now. You could compare it to that.

Brass Ark currently has a 1940s 2B Silvertone listed for $1975.
I’m not a collector, I just have too many trombones….
