Johnny Quest Theme Solo
First time I watched this show (in first run) and the trombone solo came through the speakers on our big ol' honkin' "entertainment center", I turned to my Dad and said, "What was THAT?". His reply was simply "Rosolino".

Frank may have been on the session, but that solo doesn't sound like him to me.

I suppose it could be either of them but I don't think so. The sound is too big, bright, and straight. Who else was on that session? Dick Nash maybe?

If you type in Brass sections in movies, you can find the Johnny Quest list.

That huge bright sound is the typical sound of an upstream player playing totally correctly... Dick Nash is an excellent example of that.
