Finally got my King flush!

Post by Kingfan »

I grew up only a few miles from the King factory in Eastlake, my first two new horns were Kings, and my teachers were King players in the Cleveland Orchestra, hence my handle on this chat. My student horn didn't make it though high school marching band and I've bought and sold several student horns of various brands for parade use since. I currently have a Getzen student horn but just lucked into a very nice King 606 at a great price. Looks like it never saw a football field! No wear on the slide, no dents, little lacquer wear. The horn hadn't been played in a year they said and there was valve oil in the case instead of slide oil but the slide was super smooth. Anybody in the Cleveland, Ohio area want a nice Getzen 400? :good:
I'm not a complete idiot, some parts are still missing! :D
