If I were to purchase the Blair Bollinger signature model bass trombone, but didn’t really have any interest in using the Bollinger tuning system, how should I go about purchasing the standard Gb tuning slide if it wasn’t included with the instrument?

If you're buying the instrument new, it should include a Gb slide (at least according to Shires' website). If you're buying the instrument used, your best bet would be to contact Shires to see if you can purchase one. If you try to get one from somewhere else it'll be a one-off custom job (time + money).
