I have had a lot of fun last weekend playing a trombone ensemble project in Germany.
A group of friends - mostly good amateurs - have now for the third time done this (2015, 2021 and 2023).
Concert on Monday was great!
Personal favorites from the concert (my own parts indicated as well):
Elsa's procession to the cathedral (1st) - quite challenging high parts
Blue Topaz (bass trombone solo) - one of the greatest bass trombone features imo
It's only a paper Moon (1st) and I keep forgettin (bass trb) - both arranged specifically for this project:
