Not quite. Michigan State now has Ken Thompkins, former Principal of the DSO.
John shanks is going to Western Michigan University, my soon to be Alma Mater. He’s taking on the legacy left by Dr. Steve Wolfinbarger and the studio is quite excited to have John Shanks here. His teaching and playing was phenomenal. Some of the best Bach I’ve heard played on trombone hands down.
