Why are there in several spots green, black and blue boxes in the photo as well as a grid over the whole photo? On the bell near the brace on the left side there are two boxes designed to look like brass hiding something and then the letters “elmer” coming out of it (Conn-Selmer)? Near the second valve there is a spiral shaped logo.

The trombone was a side object of an otherwise private picture. I just picked the wrap cause I was interested in the horn. No Selmer mark visible. You barely find a 112H over here. Most U.S. basses here are Bachs 50B2 and B3.

Definitely looks like a 112H, though not a current production one. I don't think they have the counterweight on them anymore. This is one from the days of the plastic linkage ends:

I have a 112h with that Minick-style Brace.
Good instrument. I play it with a heavier 62h slide. I think these are a bit underrated.
