Now, I graduated in 1978 and a lot has changed in the music scene over these 45 years, but WTH is "Bloated"?

Uh ... "whiskers" are a specific type of nylon brush. Now; what I really dislike about that picture, is the beamed eigth-notes with rests within the beam. The song isn't fast in this example, but at higher tempos such writing makes for sight reading problems.
