Does anybody happen to know if he uses a dual bore or single bore slide primarily with his Edwards?

Dual.

I bought my 502 with the single bore slide. Once I changed to dual bore it really made the horn feel much better. The valves felt the same and playing in both valves was better. High range was/great with either slide.

Thanks! I noticed that I knew if the other basses in the major orchestras mainly played on single/dual, but I realized I didn't know Markey's preference.

I think he uses the single bore slide for some things, but in the orchestra it's primarily dual bore.
