How often do you go to the dentist to get cleanings and checkups?

I do three times a year.  My dentist wants four but insurance covers two so I compromise.

I do one additional treatment visit per year for major catchup work.  They sedate me and do as much as I can afford.  After four years I'm finally ahead of that game.
