Has anyone tried one of these. How does it compare to the Yamaha strap?

Interesting, looks like a similar idea to the Neotech but floppy. That's a new one to me.

This looks interesting. I might buy one just to try it. It’s like a soft Get-a-Grip.

I wasn’t able to get the NeoTech to work. The disadvantage with the Klebsch and Yamaha straps is that on my horns, they have tended to pull the slide tubes out of alignment. By attaching to the horn above the cork barrel, the Curtis strap should eliminate that problem.

Would this actually do anything meaningful to transfer the weight of the horn? It seems like the strap would just collapse into something circular unless the hand were kept rigid.

It transfers the weight of the instrument to the back of the left hand, much like the NeoTech or Hagmann grips. Looks like a winner to me.

I looked in several of the usual places (Horn Guys, Hickey’s, Dillons) but couldn’t find it for sale. I tried to order from their website, but you have to create an account. The sign-up page has an error in it—you have to enter something in one of the fields, but won’t allow you to hit enter because “there is nothing in the ___ field.” I’ll wait a while until they fix it, or until it’s for sale here in the states.
