I need to replace the innerslides to my conn. They are 0.517 and conn doesn't make them any more. Does anybody know where to get new ones?

What model Conn is this? I didn't think they ever made 0.517" inners. Or are you talking about OD?

Some 78H has 517 bore.. I have one from '24 and suspect that it has this size..
Btw, i think If You measure Your slide, M&k drawing May make tubing for You.. At a price of course.. 😁

If you replace inners while keeping the original outers, DO NOT go by bore size alone. You have to measure the outer diameter of the stockings.

I'd word it even more strongly than that. Find inners with stockings that fit the outers, then worry about the bore. Plus or minus a few thousandths on the bore isn't going to make much difference, but the stockings HAVE to fit the outers.

Truth. There are actually cases where the recommended replacements are a different bore size, like Olds large bore tenor for example.

Conn Loyalist says they went to .523 bore starting in 1932 (not that that's necessarily accurate).
