I'm sitting here watching the movie Bullet. Does anyone know who was playing bass bone on the soundtrack? Wow! In your face, edgy, and on top of it!

Bullitt? Kenny Shroyer on the film score proper, Lew McCreary on the re-recorded soundtrack album. See here.

There is a really awesome bass trombone solo in the grade B movie Grindhouse: Deathproof, one of the bar scenes. I always wondered who that was.

Joe Tex - The Love You Save (May Be Your Own)
1966, Dial Records, Nashville
ssking2b might know some likely names on the Nashville studio scene back then...?

I think horns were done in NY for the The Love You Save. ssking2b would know who if it was recorded in Nashville.
