Can you help me out and measure the length of your bell section and your valve section?
I am primarily intersted in King and Conn valve trombones but other makers are good, too. THANKS!
Bruce is correct about the 5G and 6H. The 5G valve section also fits and works well on the 48H.greenbean wrote: Wed Mar 03, 2021 4:55 pm Hey, valve trombonists! (3-valve instrument; no handslide)

Does this mean if I can get a 2B slide it will fit my 2B valve ‘bone?BGuttman wrote: Wed Mar 03, 2021 4:59 pm Note that King 2B and 3B valve sections fit on their respective bells so you can use them as slide or valve trombones.
I believe the Conn 5G and 6H have a similar relationship.

My Getzen is the same. It came in a big heavy case that holds a slide and a valve section.BGuttman wrote: Wed Mar 03, 2021 4:59 pm Note that King 2B and 3B valve sections fit on their respective bells so you can use them as slide or valve trombones.

Yes, please. I am after the overall dimensions. Mostly of the valve section. Length and perhaps width at the widest part? (Bottom of valve casing up to a finger button. I think I know the answer but more data won't hurt!)soseggnchips wrote: Thu Mar 04, 2021 2:44 am Hi greenbean,
I have a Blessing Artist valve trombone I can measure for you if that would be of use?
Is it the length of the tubes you're after or overall length for case fitting etc?
No problem!greenbean wrote: Thu Mar 04, 2021 12:40 pm Yes, please. I am after the overall dimensions. Mostly of the valve section. Length and perhaps width at the widest part? (Bottom of valve casing up to a finger button. I think I know the answer but more data won't hurt!)
