A solder joint came undone and now it's buzzing very loudly. How can I fix this at home?

Electricians tape, but I would just take it to a tech to do the job right.

Is there a gap in the joint? If so, this must be addressed before resoldering. Usually joints don't just come undone without substantial force, and forcing two pieces together for the sake of soldering them back together is the wrong way to go about it. Soldering is the only reasonable repair. Overcome the urge to use any other adhesive out of ease or convenience, because using an alternative to solder causes additional problems, along with the accompanying expense of undoing the quick fix. Unless you're skilled and experienced in soldering (and if you were, you'd have already accomplished the repair and not asked the question in the first place), I see a trip to a competent tech to get this repair done in your future. harrisonreed's advice is perfect; it enables you to play without the joint vibrating until you're able to get the necessary work done.
